Together with one of our partners for marine systems in Italy, Ship Systems SRL, we have provided the fire protection for the newly extended “Star Class” cruise ship, Star Legend, which is operated by Windstar Cruises. The vessel recently underwent an extensive refurbishment and modernization and was lengthened by 26 meters.
A new mid-section was inserted to the ship to make room for 50 more staterooms, specialty restaurants, a new pool area and more. With the new section, the ship has increased the accommodation capacity from 212 to 312 passengers.
