For protection of machinery spaces and special hazards risks found in larger size enclosures we offer a total flooding extinguishing system developed for protection of enclosures with volumes up to 4610 m3.
The specially designed nozzles are placed in the ceiling to cover the entire space regardless of the location of the machinery, and in the event of fire the system will immediately discharge water to the entire space. The cooling characteristics of the low pressure watermist system rapidly extinguishes the fire without having to shut down engines or evacuate personnel.
For total flooding protection of small enclosures with no or limited water supply we offer a low pressure watermist standalone system connected to water cylinders and a nitrogen cylinder. When activated, the nitrogen pressurizes the water cylinders and water is discharged through the low pressure watermist nozzles.
For protection of machinery in large industrial halls VID Fire-Kill offer a low pressure watermist system designed for local protection with nozzles positioned above or next to specific critical areas of the machinery. If a fire is detected, the local protection system will immediately activate and discharge watermist directly onto the defined areas of the machinery securing a safe work environment and minimal damage to the equipment as water is only discharged to the burning area.
