TUNPROTEC® Model C-A-80-50-S Zone Control Valve assembly is a factory-assembled and -tested fire zone control valve designed for implementation in TUNPROTEC systems. As fire zone control valve, the Tunprotec Model C-A-80-50-S Zone Control Valve has been designed to hydraulically control the flow of water from the wet supply system to the dry TUNPROTEC® N-Pipe low-pressure water mist system. The assembly includes an solenoid valve for remote operation in addition to remote operated drain and test valves and a 1000 micron filter.

Application

TUNPROTEC® The Model Tunprotec C-A-80-50-S Zone Control Valve had been designed and tested for installation in infrastructure tunnels of unlimited length. Among approved applications are road, train, metro, cable, conveyor, mining, and pedestrian tunnels.

The Model Tunprotec C-A-80-50-S features small outer dimensions, robust and reliable components, and the ability to remotely activate the zone control valve and to have it run a self-test sequence in which activation and alarm functions can be tested. The zone isolation and drain/test valves is equipped with motors for remote operation. The fire zone control valve is shipped fully assembled and can be easily installed into protected areas or into cabinets.

TEST AND APPROVALS

The Model Tunprotec C_EL zone control valve has been tested to FM5560 component test for water mist systems. In addition it has been evaluated by the DANISH TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and ISO EN 13849-2 with rescped to mean time to failure (MTTF) of 150 years.
