The FIREKILL™ OH nozzles are installed recessed into the ceiling with the nozzle rosette flush with the surface and the nozzle Cover Plate protruding 10-15 mm from the surface, being the only visible parts of the nozzle in its daily use or directly into a visible pipe system in retrofit cases. The FIREKILL™ OH nozzles can be delivered in different paint and finishes making the system blend in with almost any type of surface, securing the aesthetics of the surroundings. The nozzles can also be delivered with logo print.

Description

Application

The FIREKILL™ system for protection of small storage and technical rooms is unique as it requires very low water pressures and water flow rates. The system utilizes the automatic low-pressure water mist nozzles Model OH-PX2 which are patented pendent automatic, fine water spray nozzles. The OH-PX2 nozzle create a homogenous fine water mist, which absorbs heat, reduces radiant heat and causes oxygen depletion near the fire, which in turn controls and suppresses the fire. This homogenous mist consists of a high concentration of very small droplets. Because of the small mass of the droplets, the nozzle creates a large coverage, further minimizing the water expenditures and hydrating nearby combustibles.

The FIREKILL™ OH-PX2 has been tested in accordance with VdS Test Assembly and Requirements – OH3 (ST1 and ST5/6), document ref VdS OH3 de V1 29.09.2011. The FIREKILL™ OH-PX2 can protect selected OH-3 sales, storage and technology areas enclosed by OH-1 areas. The test is carried out with third party witness from DnV.
