The FIREKILL™ K1 Biscay is a pre-fabricated piping system with integrated nozzle threads which can easily be installed in the protected area.

Design

Application

The FIREKILL™ K1 Biscay is a total flooding low pressure water mist system suited for fire protection of bilge area in machinery spaces and pump rooms. The system can be designed with different parameters, making it possible to optimize the system for its use. The FIREKILL™ K1 Biscay system utilized the Model K1 nozzle supplied in stainless steel.

Test and approvals

DnV MED-B and UK MER-B approval

The FIREKILL™ K1 Biscay is approved by DnV as it has been successfully tested to IMO MSC Circ. 1165 EQUIVALENT WATER BASED FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS FOR MACHNIERY SPACE AND CARGO PUMP ROOMS, Annex Table 2.Bilge nozzles.
