The Monge is the second largest vessel in the French Navy fleet, following the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. It is a test and measurement vessel built by Chantiers de L’Atlantique in 1992. The purpose of Le Monge is to monitor ballistic missile launches and collect data for flight analysis. As part of the ongoing modernization by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, the vessel will be equipped with the VID FIREKILL low pressure water mist system for protection.
Many navies choose our low pressure solution for several reasons:

– Our solution has proven efficient, as evidenced by our Med certificates.
– The low pressure system is easy to install and maintain.
– It consumes minimal water and energy.
– The system comprises high local content that can make up to 90% of the system amount.

By choosing the VID FIREKILL solution, local and national companies can be utilized for system design, maintenance, and supply, except for the nozzles and filters.
